Houston-Since its inception in the year 1995,the Indian Consulate Office in Houstan has served three very dynamic  diplomats as its Consul Generals but none as popular as the Hon Skand Ranjan Tayal,who completes his term this year in July,and in whose honor was hosted a grand farewell on Tuesday June 28 at the westin Galleria.

Leaders of twenty leading Indo-American organizations of Houstan paid rich tributes to the SR Tayal and wife Kusum Tayal who had grace d many a en event-religious,education,fundraisers,cultural,patriotic and even sports with equal fervor and zest in the past three years.
